______________________________________________________________________________ RE REBIN rebins a set of maps in one SAD file with physical units consisting of equal increments of pixels, wavelength, log(wavelength), frequency, or log(frequency) to equal increments of pixels, wavelength, log(wavelength), frequency, or log(frequency) in another SAD file. The calibration between the input and output physical units can be input manually or taken from a file. If the calibration is taken from a file written by option CO (COMPARSLINES) which relates wavelength to pixel location say, then each input row is allowed to have an independent calibration. If the calibration is input manually, then all rows are treated equally. The rebinned map will have a uniform calibration with row however. ______________________________________________________________________________ Enter an option: 6-NOV-2000 23:19:56.28 OPTION=RE REBIN, Version 2 Open the input file Enter the filename: (<CR> for default) FILE_IN=DDTEST2 There is one map in the file Reading from the file 1 rows of 500 pixels in R4 format Open the output file NMAPS= 1 NPLNS= 1 NROWS= 1 NELS= 500 Enter the filename: (<CR> for default) FILE_OUT=DOUT Creating new file Enter the output map number: (default = 1) MAPS_OUT= 1 The bin-type of the input file is PIXEL The physical value at the center of the first pixel is 1.5000000 The physical value at the center of the last pixel is 500.50000 The physical increment per pixel is 1.0000000 Enter the data bin-type for the ouput file: P = Pixel WA = Wavelength (Angstroms) (default) LWA = log(wavelength (Angstroms)) F = Frequency (hertz) NEW_DATA_BIN_TYPE= WA Where will the wavelength calibration coefficients (wavelength as a function of pixel) come from?
