______________________________________________________________________________ RO ROTATE is a module which rotates a map or maps from a file by an arbitrary angle and writes the result to the same or a different file. A positive angle rotates the features in the map counter- clockwise relative to the axes. Rotations which are multiples of 90 degrees are handled differently so as to take less time. The output file may of a different size than the input file and the center of rotation may be at a different location in the output file. ______________________________________________________________________________ Enter an option: 22-SEP-2002 23:58:19.82 OPTION=RO ` ROTATE, Version 2 Open the file to be rotated Enter the filename: (<CR> for default) FILE_IN=CT002028 There is one map in the file Reading from the file 400 rows of 576 pixels in R4 format Open the output file: (can be the same as the input file) Enter the filename: (<CR> for default) FILE_OUT=ROTATE_OUT Creating new file Enter the number of columns and the number of rows: MAP_SIZE=580 404 Enter the output map number: (default = 1) MAPS_OUT= 1 Enter the rotation angle in degrees: (a positive angle rotates the features counterclockwise) ANGLE=10 Enter the column and row of the rotation center: (default = map center) CENTER= 289.000 201.000 Enter the column and row of the rotation center in the output file: (default = new map center) CENTER= 291.000 203.000 Enter an option: 23-SEP-2002 00:01:46.72 OPTION= ______________________________________________________________________________
